Empathy is a hot buzzword, but is often hard to incorporate into your business. Companies that do find a way to infuse their business and culture with empathy, are able to more fully understand each other internally in addition to the consumers they serve. So, what’s the one thing many of these companies have in common? The Applied Empathy methodology. Michael Ventura, CEO & Founder of Sub Rosa and author of Applied Empathy, has developed a methodology grounded in tangible tools and practical examples that allow you to truly step into an empathic mindset. In this talk, Michael will describe the various types of empathy, frequent roadblocks to incorporating it within business, and helpful tools and case studies where the Applied Empathy methodology has been used to build stronger and more effective leaders, products, and companies. As technology speeds ahead and machine learning continues to evolve, empathy will play an essential role in bringing humanity into our digital world. Applied Empathy is not just a nice to have, it’s an essential for today’s modern, rapidly shifting landscape.
