Bio note

An experienced digital transformation strategist with a strong track record in identifying opportunities and challenges presented by the digital revolution and associated behaviours of the post digital natives. Solid experience of developing and managing organisational culture change/stakeholder management and looking at the opportunities afforded to both organisations and employees. I am a nerd for all things digital with a natural skill for building tangible, open networks for positive change through technology. Emma founded Rewired State and Young Rewired State, is a Commissioner for the Speaker’s Commission on Digital Democracy and a Google Fellow. Currently working with Her Majesty’s Courts and Tribunal Service on their digital transformation programme and as an adjunct for Ashridge Executive Business School. Emma writes regularly for the British Press and on her own blog, speaks on radio and on television, is best known for her campaign: ‘Year 8 is too Late’ (encouraging girls into technology subjects) and insights into the social digital generation: the 97ers. Awarded the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to education and technology. Included in A&C’s Who’s Who, voted onto the Wired 100 list, Tech City 100, BIMA Hot 100, has been voted one of the top ten women in technology by The Guardian and in the top 25 by Computer Weekly.
